Ingredients
1. Boneless chicken cut into cubes 400 grams
2. Chopped Garlic 3 tablespoons
3. Fresh coriander leaves
4. Salt according to taste
5. White pepper powder to taste
6. Dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon
7. Egg 1
8. Cornflour/ corn starch 2 tablespoons
9. Oil 1 tablespoon + to deep fry
10. Green chillies 3
11. Fish sauce 3 tablespoon
12. Sugar 1½ teaspoons
13. Lemon juice of ½ lemon
14. Fresh coriander sprigs for garnishing
How to cook ?
Step 1:- Take chicken cubes in a bowl. Add salt, 1 tablespoon garlic, pepper powder, ¼ tablespoon soy sauce and egg and mix well. Add cornflour and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Step 2:- Heat sufficient oil in a wok. Deep-fry marinated chicken cubes till chicken is fully cooked and golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
Step 3:- Finely chop coriander stems. Slice green chillies diagonally.
Step 4:- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick wok. Add remaining garlic and green chillies and sauté on high heat till garlic turns light brown.
Step 5:- Add coriander stems, mix and sauté for 10 seconds. Add remaining soy sauce and fish sauce and toss to mix.
Step 6:- Add sugar and mix well. Add fried chicken and toss well.
Step 7:- Finely chop coriander leaves.
Step 8:- Add lemon juice to the pan and toss. Add coriander leaves and toss again. Switch off heat.
Step 9:- Serve hot garnished with coriander sprig.
