Ingredients
1. Mutton cut into small pieces 200 grams
2. Kidney beans boiled 1 cup
3. Oil 3 tablespoons
4. Refined flour (maida) 2 tablespoons
5. Salt to taste
6. Black pepper powder to taste
7. Bay leaves 2
8. Garlic minced 1 tablespoon
9. Onion finely chopped 1 medium
10. Tomatoes blanched and finely chopped 2 medium
11. Paprika powder 1 teaspoon
12. Dried oregano 1 teaspoon
13. Roasted cumin powder 1 1/2 teaspoons
14. Tomato puree 2 tablespoons
15. Chicken stock 2 cups
How to cook ?
Step 1 : Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan. Add refined flour, salt and pepper powder, mix and sauté. Add mutton pieces, mix and sauté on high heat for a minute. Transfer onto a plate.
Step 2 : In the same pan, heat the remaining oil. Add bay leaves, garlic and sauté well. Add onion and sauté till it turns translucent.
Step 3 : Add tomatoes, mix and cook for a minute. Add paprika powder, oregano, cumin powder and salt and mix well. Add tomato puree, mix well and cook on low heat for a minute.
Step 4 : Add mutton pieces and mix well. Add 1 cup stock, stir to mix, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 5 : Add kidney beans, mix well and add remaining stock. Stir to mix, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 6 : Serve hot.
